A very small exam week update: I got very little done this week. On anything. Mainly, though, my main contribution was fixing the billboarding of the sprites in the Tactics Game Engine so that they render correctly.|
Vastly cool stuff is going on, but none of it is particularily photogenic. Or discussable in public. So I will take my lame hit.
Instead, because Ben claims he's never seen them before: here are some earlier Spectre shots from the initial version of the landscape engine. here and here. What's notable about these is that the terrain is actually generated using complicated noise. These were to be for a Master of Magic clone that we were (initially) working on back in 2004, but that for various reasons never materialized.
Also: I helped put down a floor today. Subfloor, technically. That was quite interesting in and of itself.
